Home Gallery Music Video Contact Home18 Year Old Karen Harding has a very bright future ahead of her, already winning exclusive music competition Music Means Life in 2008 she's gone on to perform at many events alongside big name acts such as Beverley Knight, Errol Brown and Simply Red.Here's her story in her own words...I started singing at a very young age of eight. Most of my early performances were to sing for family and friends at birthdays and weddings. When I was fifteen, I started to enter more major talent contests and realised that my singing appealed to complete strangers wherever I was!In early 2008 I entered singing contest Music Means Life after finding out about it in the local press. The contest was aimed at attracting young unsigned musical talent with profits going to local good causes, I wanted people to know who I was so gave it my best and unbelievably I won! Since then my feet have not touched the ground.In late 2008 I was very fortunate to meet numerous record label executives at Sony and Universal and even had a meeting with music mogul- Pete Waterman. During 2008 I have performed for The Princes Trust and was delighted to be asked to be one of their Ambassadors. One of the highlights of 2008 was to take part in Eurovision 2009, I was fortunate to get to the final 20, but wish the winner Jade Ewen every success. I will, whenever possible offer my voice to good causes especially Music Means Life, Charlie Bear Cancer for Care, The Princes Trust and Make A Wish Foundation where I sang at their 2009 Charity Ball in front of The Dragon's off BBC TV's Dragon's Den . I am currently recording original material with some of the best producers in the world and also have a song available for download internationally on iTunes - a cover of Jennifer-Yvette Holliday's 'And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going' which realy shows off my range.I hope that more and more people listen to my singing and learn more about me, as this incredible journey has only just begun.Anyway, this is my bio for now but it will be updated regularly!!!
